Friendship sign "The Ties that Bind"
Feb. 15th, 2017 10:39 pm"...death isn't permanent here, but there are side-effects if you die. So don't die. If you do, I'm gonna kick you, ze."
My best friend since my earliest days of miko training. We've practically taken on all of Gensokyo together (even battled against each other), but she's the first person I would turn to if I need help.
Marisa's apparently been here for months, but it'll take more than a place like this to take her down. It's terrible that I couldn't be here to support her then, but I'm here now and I'm going to make sure she gets through this.
"Even for such a lazy shrine maiden, you're uncharacteristically late to the incident, Reimu."
Responsible for the Scarlet Mist Incident. Remilia and I aren't really enemies, but she seems to enjoy teasing every now and then. Of course, teasing back can be just as fun. We're a bit like rivals.
She wasted no time being one of the first to greet me and she's managed to hold herself together, despite the terrible things I've heard about Mayfield. I suppose that's a good thing; I should be able to manage if my rival can. She'd better last long enough for me to get my powers back.
"If your idea of a party is a series of deadly occurrences that happen on practically a monthly basis, I suppose."
Wherever Remilia goes, Sakuya is bound to be there, too. This time, she was apparently here before her master; it must have been tough for her then.
She seemed well enough during the brief instance we spoke, so I assume all the other residents of the Scarlet Devil Mansion are fine as well.
"I know it's of no fault of the Hakurei Border. It's no ones fault other than those who brought us here, and they are far removed from our world."
This was easily the greatest surprise meeting, aside from Marisa. If even the Yamaxanadu can be stripped of her power by this town, then it's a fate no one else can escape!
Still, she's exactly as I remember her: preachy, but supportive. She's definitely the one who could bring order to this place, if that's even possible.
"It's sadly very deceiving, Reimu-san. Just a few weeks ago, we all..."
Head of the Myouren Temple and a magician of peace; even after being sealed away to Makai, she was still willing to continue her mission. Whatever she's doing, it's working better than anything I've tried for the Hakurei Shrine.
It's a bit surprising to see her wear a frown, but from what I've heard about Mayfield, it eventually does that to everyone. She's still willing to put a smile on for others, so even I can tell her spirits are still high.
"Try not to worry so much. Besides, charms are...hm, they won't protect you from the real problem here so there's no reason to waste your time."
He’s a vampire working for the church. Though he threatened the Hakurei Shrine, he seemed only to do so because it was his job.
Despite the fact that he ultimately works for a paycheck, he still keeps his own interests in mind. He seemed interested in Gensokyo when I mentioned my shrine’s regular visitors, so I’ll have to ask him just what he knows about them.
